(x) Neat the raw edges along the crotch
seam and the west line. Press it
(xi) Fold around the waist 0.5 cm and
fold again 2.5 cm to make the
waistband casing. Pin and tack
(xii) Remove the pins and stitch along
the edges. Leave a 5 cm gap for
inserting an elastic.
(v) Remove the pin and stitch the seam. (xiii) Insert the elastic using a ribbon
(vi) Neat the raw edges and press it. threaded.
(vii) Repeat procedures (i)- (vi) for the
second leg.
(viii) Match the centre seam of the
crotchet correctly. Pin and tack
the two legs around the crotch.
(xiv) Use zigzag stitches to join the
two elastics securely and stitch
along the gap to make it close
(ix) Stitch along the crotch seam.
