Preface

This textbook, Business Studies for Secondary Schools Student’s Book Form Two,
FOR ONLINE READING ONLY
is explicitly written for Form Two students in the United Republic of Tanzania. It
is written according to the 2023 Business Studies Syllabus for Ordinary Secondary
Education (Form I-IV) issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
It contains contents from Commerce for Secondary Schools student’s books for Form
One, Two, Three, and Four, published in 2023.

The book consists of five chapters: Production, Financing small-sized businesses,
Small business management, Warehousing and inventorying for small businesses, and
Business opportunity identification. You are encouraged to do all activities, exercises,
and other assignments provided by your teacher. Doing so will enable you to develop
the intended competences.
