Importance of learning the language of instruction
For students to succeed in their studies, they must comprehend the language used
in the classroom. Students can interact with teachers and peers more successfully
when they are fluent in the language used in the classroom. Students benefit
from this communication by learning new ideas and participating fully in class
discussions. Additionally, students who are fluent in the language of instruction
perform better academically overall and have greater self-confidence. Therefore,
putting in the time and effort to become proficient in the language used in the
classroom is an essential skill that will help students in their academic endeavours.
