1. 只要……就……

在汉语中“只要……就……”用来连接一个条件复句。“只要”引出一个
必要的条件，“就”后边的条件所产生的结果。主语可以放在“只要”
前或者后，如果有另一个主语，要放在“就”的前边。In Chinese, "只
要……就……" is used to join the two clauses of a conditional complex sentence.
“只要”introduces the necessary condition, and “就”will be followed by the

consequent result. The subject of the sentence can be placed before or after “只
要”. If there is another subject, it should be placed before “就”. For example:
