Fruit crops: These are crops with a tree or bush type growing habit. They usually
contain an edible part that holds seeds. They include crops such as mango, orange,
tangerine, jew plum, guava, jambolan, grape, loquat, papaya, tree tomato/tamarillo,
gooseberry, passion, lime, lemon, avocado, jackfruit, apple, peach, pear, plum,
sugar-apple/sweet-sop, soursop, pineapple, snot apple, strawberry, watermelon,
lychee, pomegranate, bungo/rubber vine, baobab, olive and tamarind. Some of these
fruit crops are shown in Figures 1.23 to 1.51.
