            Dry animal shed: This shed is required if dry cows are housed separately from the
            milking ones as the case is in large farms. In small farms, milking and dry animals

            can be housed together. The floor in the covered area of dry animal shed should
            preferably be made of cement concrete. Normally, one third of the animals in a farm
            can be in dry or in dry combined with pregnant stage in dairy farms.

            Bull shed: It should be constructed towards one end of the farm. Since bulls fight
            each other, a pen for each bull is advisable. As a rule of thumb, if natural breeding is
