2. Select a song for the show. You are advised to choose a song
               that you like. The song should also have an attractive message

               vocal and singing exercises. If the song is to be sung by a group,

               practise with your fellow singers. Good preparation makes the

               singer confident. Therefore, he or she can perform well in front
               of the audience;

          4. Before the performance, arrive early at the performance venue

               or platform that will be used and do some rehearsals. The
               rehearsing includes knowing the stage and testing the musical

               instruments;

          5. On the day of the performance, have enough time to rest before
               the performance time. Also arrive at performance area on time;

          6. Be confident with the preparations you have made and avoid

               showing signs of wanting favours that could lead you into corrupt
               practices; and

          7. During the performance, express the feelings you have about

               the song confidently as you send the intended message to the
               audience. If it is a happy event, smile and show your happiness.

               If it is a sad event, express the mood of sadness with the relevant
               voice or actions.
