The school bought 5624 crates of soda. If each crate had
24 bottles of soda, how many bottles of soda were bought in

             total?

             Solution

             Number of crates 5,624
Each crate contained 24 bottles of soda.

                                5624
                              × 24

                              22496
                           +112480

                             134976

Therefore, the school bought a total of 134,976 bottles of
