(a)   Script area: The place where you create your programs
                     in Scratch, by putting together different blocks.


               (b)   Blocks: Allows you to access and select blocks to create
                     your program.

               (c)   Stage: The area where a games is displayed.

               (d)   Sprite list area: Represents  the objects or characters
                     used to show how the game operates.


               (e)  Sprite icon: A place to choose a ‘Sprite’.


              Creating simple game

               Scratch program is used to create a game in which a sprite
               can move around on the stage. Follow the steps provided in
               activity 6.

               Steps

               1.  Click on the ‘Events’ block menu as shown in Figure 21.


               2.  Drag and drop the ‘when clicked’ block on the script area
                    as shown in Figure 21.
