Thus, the two equations are  x y+= 14 and  x y−=  6. The x and y-intercepts
               are (14,  0) and (0, 14) for  x y+= 14 and (6,  0) and (0, 6)−   for  x y−=  6.
               Use the intercepts to draw the graph as shown in the following figure.

               From the figure, the two lines intersect at a point (10, 4). That is, x = 10 and y =
                                                                                      4.
               Therefore, the numbers are 4 and 10.
