to ensure that medicated feed are transported to the correct location and are fed to
animals that require the medication should be followed. Feed transport vehicles and
feeding equipment used to deliver and distribute medicated feed should be cleaned
after use, even if a different medicated feed or non-medicated feed or feed ingredient
is to be transported using the same vehicle and the same feeding equipment.
Activity 5.6
Perform the following tasks:
1. Using your experience and by contacting resource persons as well as library
search, find out aspects to adhere to in practicing good feeding for the livestock
species and types commonly kept in your school and your home area.
2. Practise good feeding of the livestock in school/home.
3. Record all your task proceedings in your portfolio including lessons you have
learnt and share them in class.
