When runs are not permanent, they are not fenced then moveable houses are
preferably used. Fold houses and coops are the common moveable poultry houses.
Fold houses are small moveable houses with a run attached on it. The birds can
make use of the run during the day and the house during the night. Fold houses
can be constructed using suitable locally available materials. Figure 4.14 shows an
example of a poultry fold house.
