                                        Openings




              Introduction

              Openings are used in garment construction as functional or decorative features
              which are essential as they allow putting on and taking off the garment. In this
              chapter, you will learn the meaning of openings, the types of openings, the choice
              of openings and procedures for making them. The developed  competencies
              will enable you to make appropriate openings when constructing a particular
              garment or an article.
