(ix) Zip it up to the top and close the
seam right sides together, tack the
seam as usual.
Starting about half a centimetre back
from where the line of zip stitching ends,
sew the seam down to the bottom of the
garment. Press open. The invisible zip is
completely done.

Procedures for attaching a concealed zip
(i) Complete the seam up to the base
of the opening from the fitting line.
(ii) Press the seam open.
(iii) Snip the back turning to the
machine 1cm below the opening.
Lapped zips or concealed
This method of attaching a zip has one
row of top-stitching. It is commonly used
