Tax clearance certificate
This is a certificate issued by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) for Tanzania
Mainland and Zanzibar Revenue Authority (ZRA) for Zanzibar as a confirmation that the
respective individual or business entity has complied with all tax obligations in a given
period. Figure 5.9 presents a sample of a Tax Clearance Certificate awarded by TRA.
