“之一” It means one of them, indicating that the content or situation mentioned
before is not unique, instead, there are other similar ones. For example：

1) 阿鲁沙是坦桑尼亚的大城市之一。

2) 王教授是我们学校知识水平高的老师之一。
3) 他是这所儿学校的老师之一。

4) 达累斯萨拉姆是非洲发达的城市之一。
