                     Boolean algebra and logic gates

Boolean algebra is a mathematical framework used for analyzing and simplifying
logical expressions, which is fundamental in the design and functioning of digital
circuits. Logic gates are the building blocks of digital electronics, performing basic
logical functions like AND, OR, and NOT, based on Boolean algebra principles.

           Concept of Boolean algebra

                             Scenario 1.2:

Imagine you have a light switch at your homestead. The light can be either on
(TRUE) or off (FALSE). Boolean algebra can help you figure out how to control
the light using switches and logic operations.

AND: This is like connecting two switches in series. The light is only on (TRUE)
if both switches are turned on (TRUE). Figure 1.9 illustrates the idea.
