Solution
Relate fractions by multiplying the fraction with a smaller
denominator by a fraction with the same numerator and
denominator as follows:
2 = 2 × 9 = 18
5 5 9 45
4 = 4 × 2 = 8
9 9 2 18
Therefore, 2 = 18 and 4 = 8 .
