Conversion of metric units of length
The basic standard metric unit of length is metre (m). Other

commonly used metric units of length are millimetres (mm),
centimetres (cm) and kilometres (km). Length measurements can
be converted from one metric unit to another.

The following table shows the relationships of metric units of
length.
