Personal hygiene

Personal hygiene is important for our health. The body and

              and clothes.

              Oral hygiene

The mouth should be cleaned using a toothbrush, toothpaste,
and clean, safe water. Brushing removes food particles from
the teeth. If the food particles remain, bacteria in the mouth

feed on them and produce acid. This acid damages the teeth
and causes cavities. It is important to brush your teeth at least
twice a day. Brush your teeth in the morning when you wake

up and at night before going to bed. This helps keep your teeth
              healthy.

               Activity 6

               1. Use the library or reliable online sources to search for
information about oral hygiene and care.

               2. Share the information obtained on oral hygiene with your

                    peers for discussion.

              Bathing

Clean water and soap should be used for bathing. It is good

to bathe every day, in the morning and evening to avoid skin
diseases. If we do not bathe, our bodies can smell bad. After
bathing, dry the body with a clean towel. Apply body oil to keep
the skin soft and prevent it from drying. We should also wash

our faces with clean water and soap after waking up. This helps
remove rheum and prevent eye diseases.
