                Introduction
                Good health is important for our well-being. In this chapter,
                you will learn about health principles. These include eating

                a balanced diet, doing physical exercises and maintaining
                both personal and environmental cleanliness. However, you
                will  also explore  safety signs and other important health
                information in the environment. The competencies developed
                will enable you to follow health principles. You will also be
                able to protect your health and the health of others.

              Concept of health principles

              Following health principles is important for staying healthy.
              Good health means being strong in both body and mind. To be
              healthy, you need to eat a balanced diet, do physical exercises
              regularly and ensure personal and environmental cleanliness. It

              is also important to follow safety signs and health information in
              the environment.  Figure 1 shows examples of health principles.
