Vices in pigs: Vices in pigs are commonly caused by poor environment and inadequate
management which leads to aggression. Aggressive pigs will behave differently
from the normal ones. Common vices in pigs include tail biting, ear biting, navel or
penis sucking and flank biting. Figures 6.9(a) and (b) show tail biting in pigs.
