Darts are used to give shape to
fitted garments so as to fit the
curves of the wearer’s body. Darts
are also used to control fullness
of the garment. Darts can be sewn
at various positions depending on
the type of garment, thus; they can
be positioned at the neck, elbow, Dart
shoulder, waist, underarm, bodice,
shirt bust and other desired areas.
