There are different types of bar lines. At this level, you will learn two types of
bar lines. These are single bar line and final bar line. A single bar line is a vertical
line that divides musical notes into measures (bars). See the example shown in
Figure 2.13.

A final bar line is a combination of two vertical lines that indicate the end of the
music. One line is thin and another is thicker. Figure 2.14 shows an example of
a final bar line.
