                 what is the direction of your friend’s school?



          The importance of Cardinal Directions

          The Cardinal Directions are very important for daily human life.
          The following are the importance of the cardinal direction.

           (a) It helps to identify directions and places on maps and the earth’s
                surface. This makes it easier for users to identify their present

                location and where they are heading. They also help to direct
                people to reach their destination easily;

           (b) it is useful to engineers and architects in designing buildings,
                roads, and railways. Understanding Cardinal Directions is crucial
                for determining the orientation of a construction site, taking into

                account factors like the direction of the sunrise and sunset. It
                also aids in planning the direction of roads and railways from
                one location to another;

           (c) it is useful in guiding the movement of transport vessels. The
