of your classroom by showing all the important objects in the
classroom.

Drawing a simple map of a school
A school map is a drawing that shows the layout of the
school, including playgrounds, buildings such as classrooms, and

teachers’ offices, and other important areas. The following steps
will help you to draw a school map:

(a) Identify the size, shape, and direction of the school;

(b) determine the size, shapes, and locations of important features
within the school area;

(c) prepare the area where you will draw the school map by drawing
a square or rectangle on the paper. Make sure to leave space

for the map title, key, and other important explanations; and
(d) follow the steps of drawing a simple map to draw the school map.
