Activity 4.4

Prepare a sample of credit note and demonstrate how to fill it out.

Debit note
It is a document prepared and sent by the seller to the buyer to adjust for an undercharge
on the invoice because of various reasons. For example, if the buyer has failed to return
some of the containers (bottles) or packing materials that were not charged for in the
invoice, the seller has to send a debit note to claim the undercharged amount. Figure 4.5
shows a sample of a debit note.
