Playing ngoma in simple rhythms
You learned different ways of counting beats of different values in various written

rhythms. Written rhythms can also be played on ngoma. In this section, you will
learn how to use your hands, sticks or both to play different rhythms on ngoma.

                 A rhythm clef

A rhythm clef is also known as neutral clef or percussion clef. It is used to indicate

rhythms written for percussion instruments, such as drums, triangles, shakers and
              others.
