It is usually measured in beats per minute (bpm). The following are some of the
terms that indicate tempo:
(a) Accelerando (accel.): getting gradually faster
(b) Ritardando (rit.): getting gradually slower
(c) Adagio: slow or leisurely (66–76 BPM)
(d) Allegro: fast or lively (120–168 BPM)
(e) Moderato: at a moderate speed or pace (108–120 BPM)
(f) Andante: at a walking speed or pace
(g) = 60 : 60 beats per minutes

terms and signs that indicate tempo.
Terms and signs indicating dynamics
Dynamics are indications on how loud or soft the music is to be played or sung.
The following are some of the terms and signs that indicate dynamics:
(a) Crescendo (cresc.) or : becoming gradually louder
(b) Decrescendo (decresc.) /Diminuendo (dim.) or : becoming
gradually softer
(c) Legato: smoothly
(d) Fortissimo (ff): very loud
(e) Forte (f): loud
(f) Mezzo-forte (mf): moderately loud
(g) Mezzo-piano (mp): moderately soft
(h) Piano (p): soft
(i) Pianissimo (pp): very soft
