(d)   Slur               :  is a curved line used to indicate that two or more notes

                  of different pitches should be played in one physical stroke. It is also used to
                  indicate notes sung to a single syllable in vocal music. See the example shown
                  in Figure 5.4.

              Search for various  music scores in the school library or on the internet and
              identify terms and signs that indicate articulations.




              Repeat signs
              Repeat signs indicate that a whole piece of music or section of music is to be
              repeated. The following is an example of commonly used repeat signs:
