Activity 5.3

This activity aims to enable the students to find out how medium-
sized businesses got registered, the challenges they encountered,
and how they managed to overcome them.

Guidance on the Activity 5.3
(a) Guide students in manageable groups to visit at least two
registered medium-sized businesses in their locality and explore
how they got registered, the challenges they encountered, and
how they overcame them.
(b) Guide the students to write a visit report and submit it.

Possible answers for Exercise 5.3
1. The procedures for acquiring a business license issued by
BRELA and BPRA are explained in the student’s textbook.
2. The steps that a medium-sized business is supposed to follow
to get a Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate are
explained in the student’s textbook.
