The journey to pursue love and defy societal norms ended in tragedy. In a heart-
wrenching turn of events, Lugano is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit,
leading to his four years of unjust imprisonment. Siti is left alone, heartbroken and
devastated, as she watches the love of her life slip away from her grasp.

In the end, as Lugano languishes behind bars, and Siti mourns the loss of their love,
they are haunted by the whispers of what could have been. Their love, though pure and

true, was not enough to overcome the obstacles fate placed in their path. Could this
give Majura a chance to pursue Siti?

            Questions

            1. How did you emotionally connect with the characters of Lugano and Siti? Did
their struggles resonate with you on a personal level, and if so, why?
            2. How did your perception of Lugano and Siti evolve throughout the story? Did
you empathise with their actions and decisions, or did you find yourself distancing
               from them at any point?

            3. What overarching themes did you identify in the story, and how did they contribute
to the narrative’s emotional impact? Did the portrayal of societal norms and
expectations enhance your understanding of the characters’ struggles?

            4. How did you react to the tragic ending of the story? Did it evoke any specific
emotions or prompt you to reflect on the nature of love and fate?
            5. Assess the pacing and structure of the story. Did the narrative effectively build
tension and suspense leading up to the tragic climax? Were there any plot twists
or developments that surprised you, and if so, did they enhance or detract from
your overall enjoyment of the story?

          (f) Examine the themes of social class, power dynamics, or economic inequality in the
poem focusing on the Marxist Theory’s main focus i.e., analysis of the portrayal
of class struggle, examination of the representation of labour and capital, and
discussion of the role of ideology in shaping characters’ actions and motivations.

          (g) Choose a literary work that deals with issues related to gender, identity, or
patriarchy. Then, pose questions and share insights into the text from a feminist
perspective. Your discussions should focus on examining the portrayal of female
characters, the representation of gender roles, and the treatment of feminist themes
              within the text.
