Words with opposite meanings are referred to as antonyms. “hot” is the antonym
of “cold” and “big” is the antonym of “small.” Antonyms serve a crucial role
in language and communication by offering contrast, clarity and subtitles.

descriptions. Antonyms improve communication effectiveness by drawing attention
