bold. This is where the writer’s name and contact information appear. It may also
include additional details such as versions of the drafts whether first or second

information usually appear in this page. Copyright information is essential for
helping the writer to secure their intellectual property rights. The following is an

Principles of writing screenplays
(a) Describe sight and sounds: describe what the eyes will see and what the
ear will hear: which means describing what the camera lens sees.
(b) Describe time and place. Note that the descriptions are always in present
tense.
