             The height of a triangle is 15 metres. If its base is 30 metres,

             find the area of the triangle.
          FOR ONLINE READING ONLY
             Solution
              Height of a rectangle     = 15m

              Base of a rectangle     = 30m

              Area of a rect          =angle  1  ×   × base  height
                                         2
                                        1
                                         =  ×       × 30 m  15 m
                                        2
                                            = 225 m 2

             Therefore, the area of the triangle is  225 m .
