Prevention of HIV and AIDS infections
HIV is dangerous and has no vaccine or cure. However, people
living with HIV get drugs called antiretroviral to fight the virus
and live a long and healthy life.
HIV can be prevented by avoiding sharing toothbrushes and
sharp objects like needles, scissors, nail cutters and syringes.
Young people should avoid sexual acts to stay safe from HIV.
A person with HIV should eat a healthy diet. They should also
exercise regularly.

Non-communicable diseases
Non-communicable diseases do not spread from one person to
another. They are not caused by germs. These diseases can
be inherited from one generation to another or be caused by an
unhealthy lifestyle. Examples of non-communicable diseases
are cancer, diabetes and asthma.
