Cancer

Cancer is a disease that affects the cells in the body. These
cells begin to divide and make new cells in a disorganised way.
The new cells keep multiplying quickly and can form a tumor.

Tumors may develop into cancer. Cancer can occur in any part

of the body, like in blood, intestines, brain and bones.

              Causes of cancer

Cancer is caused by different things that harm the cells of the
body. These include exposure to strong radiation and chemicals

that cause cancer. These chemicals can come from food, air,
              cosmetics and medicines.

              Prevention of cancer

Cancer can be prevented by eating health foods, drinking safe
beverages and using medicines properly. It is also important
to avoid alcohol and smoking, as these can cause cancer. If a
person is taken early for check-ups, cancer can be treated.

levels. It happens when the pancreas organ does not produce
enough insulin. Insulin is a hormone needed to control blood
sugar levels in the blood. A person can be born with diabetes
