Preface

This text book, Bible Knowledge for Secondary Schools Student’s Book has been
written specifically for Form One students in the United Republic of Tanzania.
FOR ONLINE READING ONLY
It has been written in accordance with the 2023 syllabus for Ordinary Secondary
Education. The book consists of four chapters, namely: The concept of the Bible and
Bible knowledge, God’s creation, the fall of man and the formation of the Patriarchs
in the Bible. Each chapter contains activities and exercises. You are encouraged to

do all the activities and exercises, as well as other assignments that your teacher will
provide. However, for excellent performance and for the acquisition of competencies
expected from the study of Bible Knowledge, you are required to read the Bible
thoroughly according to the syllabus.
