         governing small businesses in Tanzania

                    Introduction

Just as sports and games require rules to ensure fair play, businesses also
operate within a set of regulations. In Tanzania, policies and regulations have
been established to support and guide businesses. These policies are designed to
help businesses including small businesses thrive, create jobs, and contribute to
our nation’s economic growth. In this chapter, you will learn about the roles of
government and non-government agencies in governing small businesses, as well as
the policies, laws, and by-laws guiding small business operations. The competences
developed will enable you to comply with policies and regulations governing the
establishment and operation of small businesses in Tanzania.

           club operations.
           Required:
Develop a list of essential rules or regulations that will guide the operations of your
club, and for each rule or regulation, identify the authority (person or group) that
would be responsible for enforcing or overseeing it.
