RE: FIRST AID KNOWLEDGE IN SCHOOLS
May I draw the attention of the relevant authorities and the public to the importance of first aid
knowledge in schools? Today, a child was in an accident near our school gate. The students
at the accident scene attempted to stop the cars that were passing by. Luckily enough, a taxi
driver stopped and picked up the injured child and rushed him to the nearby hospital.

The students were very proactive. They did what was expected of them. Their attempts finally
saved the life of the injured student. It is worth noting that schools should have first aid kits
for the students to offer assistance when an emergency occurs.
Moreover, parents should support their children to own and take care of their first aid kits. The
government and relevant authorities should promote the first aid initiative.
