Tall plump (i) Choose the style of the garment that has a narrow
area. The width of the skirt or dress should be
broken into six to eight pieces to reduce the width.
(ii) Well-positioned pockets on the plain bodice and
skirt break up the width and make an individual
look slim.
(iii) Choose a style with a well-arranged fullness to
hide the pronounced curves.
Short slim (i) Choose a plain or single colour garment without
many details. Small pleats, checks and stripes are
suitable.
(ii) Skirts: Moderate fullness and short skirts with a
knee-length are suitable.
Short plump (i) Fabric with a small pattern and plain one is suitable
for this type of figure
(ii) Skirts: Choose the one which are slightly frilled
and pleated
(iii) Wear simple clothes with few decorations. Vertical
tucks, narrow stripes, small prints, dark colours,
(iv) Sleeves: choose short set-in or raglan sleeves that
fit well and end up above the elbow or at the wrist
(v) Front opened garment will be suitable for this figure
(vi) Do not wear tight clothes or clothes that add extra
bulk, as they will show every ripple of fat.
Large bust and hip with (i) Wear tops and t-shirts that are well structured
narrow waist and are well fitted
(ii) Sleeves: Well fitted set-in sleeves maintain body
shape as they follow the body’s natural curve
(iii) Skirts: Knee-length high-waist pencil skirts with
A-line style are suitable
(iv) Necklines: Lower and wider necklines. For
example slightly rounded styles as oval or deep
oval, off shoulder and scoop
