(iv) Remove the pins and machine stitch
close to the fold through the three
layers of the fabric.
(ii) Make gathers on the underlay piece
of fabric.
(v) Remove the tacking and press.
(iii) Place the folded edge of the overlay
over the fitting line of the underlay.
Pin and tack through all the layers.
(v) Trim raw edge on the wrong side
and neaten by overcasting, loop
stitching, zigzag or by binding.
