           5.1 Concept of nutrition

             Teaching step
Guide students to search from library and internet sources the
concept of nutrition, and types of nutrition, and then ask them to
             write short notes.

           5.2 Autotrophic nutrition

               Teaching steps
               1. Guide students to search for information from library and
internet sources about photosynthesis, then ask them to make
                  short notes.
               2. Guide students to search from internet sources the simulations
of mechanisms of photosynthesis. Ask them to describe what
                  they have observed.

               3. Guide students to search from internet sources the
simulations or videos showing the mechanisms of non-cyclic
photophosphorylation. Assign them to note down what they
                  have observed.
               4. Guide students to search from internet sources the simulations/
videos showing the mechanisms of cyclic photophosphorylation.
Assign them to note down what they have observed.

               5. Use Activity 5.1 to guide students to investigate the importance
                  of light during photosynthesis.
