LEASE AGREEMENT

This Lease Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made this ____ day of ________ 20____
by and between
___________________________(herein after to be referred to as the “Landlord” one part) of __________________
(Address)
and
_________________ (herein after to be referred to as the “Tenant “on the other part) which expression shall where the
context so requires includes their administrators, executors and assigns of either party.
Whereas
(a) The Landlord is absolutely seized and possessed or otherwise well and sufficiently entitled to a residential house
situated Plot No. 000, Isevya Street, Dar es Salaam, (hereinafter referred to as the “demised premises”).
(b) And whereas the Landlord has agreed to let to the Tenant on lease the Demised Premises.
(c) And whereas the Tenant agrees to lease the said premises for the said period and upon conditions stated and in
the manner hereinafter stipulated;
Now This Agreement Witnesses as follows:
1. Lease
In pursuance of the said agreement and in consideration of the rent hereby reserved and the Tenant’ Covenants
hereinafter mentioned, the Landlord hereby demises unto the Tenant the commercial house and premises situated on
residential house situated Plot No. 000, Isevya Street, herein referred to as ‘the demised premises’ for a period of 1 year
commencing from the 1 June, 2024 to 31 June, 2025 at a monthly rent of Tanzania shillings 500, 000/=.

2. Payment of the Rent
The tenant agrees with the landlord the following;
2.1 A monthly rent of TZS 500,000/= (payable in TZS).
3. Renewal of the Term
Pursuant to the terms and conditions set out under this Agreement to be performed by the Tenant, the term of this Lease
shall not be renewed for a further period because the latter intends to re-possess the premises for the government’s own
use. That in this instance the landlord need not give any further notice as the Tenant is contractively informed of the
Landlords intention of non-renewal of the lease.
