DID YOU ?
KNOW
You may find people using different products such as radio sets, phones, tablets,
laptops, printers, refrigerators, fire extinguishers, television sets, cookers, spraying
machines, washing machines, and blenders. Some of these products are assembled
by users who did not make them. Interestingly, no schools teach how to use or
assemble the products we usually use in our daily activities. The manufacturers
also do not visit the users to teach them how to use their products. This situation
leaves a lot of unanswered questions.
(e) Discuss and write an instruction manual on how to fix a leaky faucet in the school
toilet. Then, present it in the classroom for discussion and improvement. Use the
comments from your classmates and teacher to write an improved final draft.
(f) Find on instruction manual for some electronic devices you may or may have
used. Read them and note important observations in your notebook. Share your
observations with others and your teacher. Take note of additional information
and its usefulness in improving your writing.
