Downstage right: This is an area near the audience on the right side of performers.
It is an important part since there is a special place for performers to assess point
of view by facing the audience. Actions taking place in this part will catch the
audience’s attention much faster than actions in any other part.

Downstage centre: This is an area near the audience. It is recognized as the
strongest part of the stage. If the performers use it during the performance, it
gives the audience a sense of being with performers. It is a crucial part of the
stage from which performers say very important words, slogans and
            interpretations.

Downstage left: It is an area near the audience on the left side of the performer.
This is also a strong part of the stage from which performers face the audience.
Actions in this part are characterised by capturing the attention of the audience.

            Centre stage

This is the middle or central part of the theatrical stage. It is a very important part
of the stage from which most important actions take place during performances.

Centre stage left: This is the left side from the performer’s perspective. The main
focus of this point of view is to facilitate the performers to face the audience at
the left side of the stage. Left stage is important to the audience because it enables
the audience to see the performers clearly.

Centre stage right: It is the right part from the performer’s perspective. It is a
position at which the performers face the audience at the right side. Centre stage
right enables the performers to see the interaction and the cooperation that the
            audience demonstrates during the performance.

Centre stage centre: This is the central part of the theatrical stage. It is the main
focus of attention. Centre stage centre is used by actors and actresses for acting
within the set. It is very visible to the audience. This playing area is seen clearly
by the audience who attend the theatrical show.
