While education is essential, some people think it should not be the only focus for
young people. There is an argument that learning practical skills, such as carpentry,
plumbing, or sewing, is just as important as formal schooling. People with vocational

skills often find good jobs quickly and can support their families. Many young people,
especially those in rural areas, may not need a complete academic education to
succeed. This view suggests that promoting vocational training alongside traditional
schooling could help prepare young people for the workforce. Supporters of this

idea believe that not all young people need to go to university to have a successful
              career.

Others believe that technology will be the key to the future of education in Africa.
With the growth of internet access in many African countries, some governments
have introduced digital learning platforms in schools. Some schools use online
lessons and digital textbooks to help students learn more efficiently. Experts suggest
that technology could bridge the gap between well-resourced urban schools and

those in rural areas. However, there are challenges in implementing technology in
schools, particularly in rural areas with limited access to electricity and the Internet.
Some believe technology will revolutionise education, while others argue it is not a

practical solution for all African schools.

Connotative meaning refers to the emotional or conceptual associations that

a word evokes beyond its literal or essential meaning. Some words evoke
happiness, while others evoke sadness or discomfort. For example, “home”
and “house” refer to a place where someone lives. However, “home” gives a
warm and loving feeling, while “house” is just a building. Another example

is the distinction between “cheap” and “affordable.” Both mean something
