              Introduction

              Oral communication skills facilitate clear and effective expression of ideas,
              opinions,  and  emotions.  In  this  chapter,  you  will  express  opinions,  present

              facts logically, describe conditions, situations and circumstances, participate
              in interviews, as well as describe activities  and events.  The competencies
              developed will enable you to communicate orally in various speech contexts
              with confidence, allowing you to connect, persuade, and succeed in various
              aspects of life.

               4.  Have you ever participated in a debate at home, school, church or mosque?
                  If yes, what was it about?
               5.  Do we usually debate facts and opinions?
