Good afternoon, friends.
I don’t understand why most young people believe they have the right to spend
their parents’ wealth instead of making their own. But I am sure I’m not the
only one who has heard this view! No! I’m certain that you, fellow youth, have

heard it many times too. Honestly, I’m tired of it!
Dear friends,
It is a pleasure to get this opportunity to speak about youth’s independence and
not depending on inheritance from a parent.
Dear friends,
It is not fair! I assure you, we, young people can generate income instead of
depending on parents’ wealth. Personally, I’m not solely dependent on my
parents’ wealth. Judging by the looks on your faces, I believe many of you are
not either.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me share three reasons why youths should not depend
on their parents’ wealth to make a living!

An impromptu speech is a brief on-the-spot talk about a specific topic, idea
or issue, usually with minimal preparation. It helps to develop student’s
communication skills, confidence and alertness in case of life surprises.
