            1.     The differences between co-operatives and joint ventures are
                 explained in the student’s textbook.
            2.     Types of co-operatives are categorised according to
                 membership  registration  and the services they provide.  The
                 two categories and their examples are further explained in the
                 student’s textbook.

            3.     Co-operatives significantly contribute to the welfare of their
                 members by improving their standard of living, and offering
                 reasonable prices and high-quality products.


           Skills lab activity


           Guide the students in manageable groups to suggest the means to
           re-establish and sustain their business operations.
           Build
           Students  to  think-ink-pair-share  on the  businesses that  were
           established in their locality and failed to continue operating.

           Practice
           Students in manageable  groups discuss how they can help the
           businesses to re-establish and sustain their operations.
